DOG WALKERS and PETSITTERS needed in Washington D.C. in the Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, Dupont, Georgetown, and Capitol Hill neighborhoods. Also looking for dog walkers in Alexandria, Arlington, and Falls Church. Pay is $16.50+ per hour, and is great part-time flexible work for college students, stay at home moms, retired persons, or anyone pursuing other part-time work. Part-time employees that work 20+ hours per week are eligible to participate in company 401k plan.



Job responsibilities include walking dogs Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm, while owners are at work. Candidate will be assigned jobs within a 5-mile radius of their home, so you MUST have a reliable car. Other responsibilities include tracking your schedule in a calendar or day planner, checking email and Internet daily. Candidates must pass a criminal background check, reference check on previous employers, and most importantly, must be flexible and enjoy being a team player. Candidate should have a desire to want to commit to the position for a period of 9 months or more.

DAYCARE ATTENDANTS- Looking to fill both part time weekend positions. Currently we are looking for Saturday shifts 9am-6pm, and Kennel Attendants to work 6am-7am, 11am-2pm, and 7pm-8pm on Saturdays and Sunday. Starting salary for all positions is $9-10/hr. Full-time employee benefits include: health insurance, paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation. All employees 20+ hours per week are eligible to participate in company 401k plan. In addition, employees will receive free use of our daycare during their shift and discounts on other FGMN services, such as pet sitting, pet bath, dog training, and in-store products.



Job responsibilities include: supervising dog play activities, engaging dogs in play, communicating with clients, keeping the play area clean, walking dogs at predetermined times, and evaluating potential new clients. These shifts also work in conjunction with the kennel attendant to take care of the needs of dogs boarding overnight such as feeding, walking, and kennel sanitation. Candidate should have strong dog behavior skills, an understanding of pack behavior, ability to remain calm and react to aggressive play, dog handling skills, timely, responsible, strong communication skills, flexibility, and enjoy work as a team player. Candidate must be okay with large and small dogs of all breeds and have more than just a LOVE for dogs.
