Let's go on a date, indie boys - 27
Washington, DC • 08/29/2007
So, I stole that line from the m4m section....
Anyway, this is not my first time posting on here, I'm embarrassed to admit. I've met a couple of ppl, who were just interested in something more platonic or there was just no, what women sometimes call, "chemistry".
I tend to be shy and quiet when I first meet someone (esp good-looking men), but warm up fairly quickly, which is why I'm on here. Again.
I'm looking for someone who has an interest in contemporary art, other cultures/languages, independent/foreign films, and listens to indie rock (obvs. I also prefer the "harder stuff". Less Suf-YAWN and more Boris. The new Liars album is really fucking great too). You should read once in awhile too, not just magazines, but books and newspapers. Also, I get along well w/ppl who have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, but also know when it's appropriate to be honest and direct. I also really like men who are polite to other people, like bartenders, waiters, children; that is such a turn-on.
About me: I'm a midwest transplant who's lived here for just over a year now. Most days I want to kick myself for leaving. So hopefully, a few of you will be able to convince me this area has its charms. I'm 5'9" w/an avg build.
Oh, and please be employed, live in either DC or VA, not live w/yr parents, taller than 5'9", college educated, and stay within 5 years or so of 27. Typically, I'm attracted to geeky, white guys w/glasses, but don't let that stop you from responding if you think we'd hit it off. Speaking of responding, please, PLEASE include a few lines, paragraphs about why you're replying. No cut-and-paste emails!
BTW, I can't explain why I included the cat w/the hamburger photo. I don't know...I just thought it was a really funny image.
