Team Lead

GENERAL FUNCTIONS: The Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Project Director with all project management and research activities. Responsibilities may also include client interaction and supervision of administrative staff





• ESSENCIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.


• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.


• Manages day-to-day operations and tasks.


• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to PD.


• Enforces project standards and regulations.


• Direct and manage survey process to include: supervision of interviewers, data editing and cleaning and low level analysis procedures;


• Schedule interviewers, track productivity, and verify hours worked;


• Answer all questions regarding project


• Work closely with the PD and team members to ensure all project activities have been successfully completed;


• Work independently and with a designated team to collect data from structured research and evaluation activities;


• Generate written reports to satisfy project requirements.


• Required evening hours until 10:00 p.m., occasionally until 11:00 p.m., and work one Saturday a month from 10:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.











MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited College or University. Two years of relevant work experience may be substituted for each one year of College training. Plus two years of research experience. Candidate should be adept at conducting Internet and library research. Must have highly effective oral and written communication skills; good listening skills are a plus. Must have good organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task. Should have working knowledge of standard survey processes, survey management and data compilation. Must be above average to proficient in all Microsoft software programs including, but not limited too: Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint. SPSS proficiency is a must. Should have a background in project management and have the capacity to direct efforts of small workgroups. Should be familiar with Government Contracting Requirements and Regulations. Should be a self-motivator, require minimal guidance and a team player.
