Project Manager

The company is experiencing significant growth and is looking for passionate technologists to join our team of web development professionals. Successful candidates will work in a team environment on cutting-edge software projects with premier technology partners.



This is a full-time, permanent career position for a Project Manager. Responsibilities include direct management and implementation for web-based software application development projects. Successful candidates will have proven project management experience that includes the following:



Primary Responsibilities:

• Project planning, scheduling and reporting, including status reporting, issue tracking, risk management, quality assurance planning and ongoing client communications

• Proactive, detailed and customer-oriented with proven ability to effectively work and build relationships with clients

• Develop deep understanding of client business processes and needs. Capture and document detailed business, functional and technical requirements, including requirements definition, developing use cases, writing Software Requirements Specification documents

• Lead and actively participate in testing, documentation, user training, system deployment and ongoing support activities

• Detail-oriented and highly organized, setting the standard for and ensuring the highest quality deliverables

• Work in hands-on environment with small project teams



Other Responsibilities:

• Requirements Definition: Conduct requirements meetings/interviews with stakeholders and end-users. Define and document detailed business, functional and technical requirements. Document workflows, develop use cases and write Software Requirements Specification documents.

• System Design: Design wireframe/HTML prototypes representing desired application functionality.;

• Documentation: Write system and end-user documentation.

• Training: Create and deliver training materials and provide assistance to customers as needed.



Qualifications / skills include:

• BA/BS

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentation)

• Proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to effectively manage, work in and contribute to small project teams throughout the full project lifecycle

• Mastery of MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc.)

• Understanding of RDBMS principles; Basic knowledge of SQL/MS SQL Server a plus

• A passion for technology
