I recently moved to the area and am looking for full time, Mon - Fri work as a IT/Technical trainer, IT Support Specialist, Software Specialist, IT Support Supervisor or the like. I have experience with IT training, help desk - participating and managing, proprietary software troubleshooting and testing, as well as extensive experience with hardware, software, MS Office and various other software packages.

- Foremost client and staff trainer of proprietary software – via classroom, Internet, conference calls and on site - comprised 25% of job; worked with other departments to integrate new ideas and features into training; wrote and revised agenda and classes as needed; introduced, developed and scheduled new classes
- Provided customer support to 300+ legal clients; recreated software and hardware issues to identify defective program(s)/hardware; rolled out monthly software updates to clients; installed updates for VMS, Unix and Linux clients; lead for new client data migration from other software packages
- Second in command in department; handled escalated issues
- Performed black box testing as required on Windows, VMS, Unix and Linux servers; evaluated new features which may apply to customer base; developed/revised procedures to enhance system performance such as conflicts with Windows XP Service Pack 2; suggested new techniques to save time and money in existing software package; gathered and organized data from clients to use as resource tool in department testing
- Wrote and edited user documentation in Word; documented program modifications for global release
