Lead Developer

Presidium is looking for a self motivating developer/ system administrator that can become the key man or woman in starting up our software development group. The Web 2.0 / OnDemand (Hosted) software is currently in Pre-Alpha mode with support from a team of overseas developers. We are looking for right person to manage the further development, installation and deployment, maintenance and updates to the software over its lifecycle. Key skills include:
1) Java development skills (JBOSS)
2) MySQL and/or other DBMS experience
3) Tomcat skills
4) Developing customized APIs
5) MS Windows and Red Hat Linux administration skills – you should have the ability to setup a new box for serving a web application.
6) Organized and capable of setting and hitting your own deadlines
7) Perforce or other source code repository prior use
8) Ability to create limited support documentation/ product management
Minimum of 2 years experience desired. This is a ground floor position with unlimited growth for the right person. You will be responsible for the care and feeding of an OnDemand software application as we grow this new high-impact business.
