Recruiter

Allworld Language Consultants, Inc. is seeking a recruiter to appoint qualified linguists for hire in support of law enforcement and government contracts. This is not a head hunter position. This is a salaried position and does not carry with it compensation in the form of commission. The salary range for this position does not exceed $40k. We are looking for someone with high energy that has the ability and determination to hit the ground running.





SUMMARY





Reviews employment application and interviews job applicants to select most appropriate candidate that meets or exceeds employer qualifications.








ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Recruits employees to fill vacant positions.


Reviews job requisitions and identifies applicants via computerized or manual system.


Interview prospective candidates through a telephone pre-screen as well as an in-person interview.


Checks employment references, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision while taking into consideration previous experience, education, etc.


Assists new hires with items such as completing health insurance forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date, and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.


Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications, and employee referral program.


Completes weekly report on employment activity.





EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE





Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred but will consider related experience and/or training such as customer service or sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
