FRIENDLY, FLEXIBLE PROFESSIONAL NEEDED
PCM Construction, Inc., a multi-service commercial contractor with offices in Maryland and Virginia, seeks an intelligent and enthusiastic Accountanting Clerk for its Alexandria office.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Project Managers and support staff to ensure accurate, timely input of all job related information into accounting software
• Creation of job folders and billing folders
• Maintain subcontract and change order information in accounting software, including reconciliation of project management reports
• Creation of client billing and associated lien waivers
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly Accounts Payable check run requests
• Review of client payments and computation of amounts due to subcontractors
• Coordinate write-offs of uncollectible Accounts Receivable balances with management
• Research subcontractor statements concerning payment status
• Filing of all job cost related documents
Qualifications:
• College degree strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, able to multi-task
• Must possess high degree of proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience in Prolog and/or American Contractor a plus.
• 2 years accounting experience. Previous construction experience a plus.
