Configuration Management Analyst

Sr. Configuration and Release Manager experienced with Clear case, Clear quest and CVS. Candidate will be supporting 20+ Applications for the CADS Team of SFT. The Release Management and Configuration Management team members are responsible for the following:

• Plan and facilitate release of applications into user acceptance test and production environments.
• Ensure CADS organization adheres to ESO SCM Policy and Principles
• Performs CM activities such as project setup, component setup, baseline creation, build assembly, deployments (upper environments) and end user CM support;
• Provides status accounting reports to ensure SFT CADS team is aware of product change status and environment configurations;
• Performs CM tools administration (e.g. backup verification, user tool access, space monitor)
• Performs deployments to UAT and production environments
• Serves as focal for resolving deployment issues in runtime environments;
• Plan production implementation activities for CADS application releases.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Must-Have Skills):
• Three or more years of CM? experience using Clear Quest including UCM administration experience;
• Three or more years of knowledge of CM methodologies and ability to automate CM process;
• Three of more years facilitating migration of all migration activities into UAT and production environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team;
• Ability to adapt to changing environment and requirements as well as the ability to support multiple projects;
• Experience and proficiency in customer service, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written)
• Integration skills to facilitate transition of applications from CVS to Clear Case.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major or equivalent work experience in the IT industry;
