Weblogic Administrator

This contractor will be a member of Enterprise Services and Infrastructure team for PDS applications. This contractors focus will be on managing PDS applications servers , Lower Environment and Production Support, Unix Support Coordination, DNSUPP Support Coordination, H/W Monitoring, Service Monitoring, and 24/7 VN Primary Support.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience.

QUALIFICATION:

•4 years of experience leading development teams
•8 years of related development experience
•8+ Yrs.Ability to apply complex design patterns to defined problems
•Ability to manage large development team

DESCRIPTION:
Provide infrastructure and production support company’s financial reporting applications. The system includes Solaris, Linux, Oracle, AbInitio and web applications.
•Assist in the execution of PDS valuation for financial reporting.
•Provide off-hour support as needed.
•Strong UNIX knowledge.
•Experience in Linux and Solaris.
•Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting.
•Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic.
•Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands.
•Experience in system monitoring tools.
•Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures.
•In-depth knowledge in Oracle database and applications.
•Experience in system monitoring tools, creating automation tools
•Experience with Remedy Trouble ticket system
•Excellent knowledge and experience in application of design techniques, methodologies and languages
•Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
