I forgot my stars! Five all the way!
We've lived in the area for five years, and have finally had enough. The food is decent--not great, but decent. However, I am beyond sick and tired of their horrible phone manners, their consistently late delivery, and their lies when we call to ask where the food is or if they'll really deliver what we asked for. My husband and I strongly believe in supporting local businesses, but this is one we would like to see replaced. Most recent case in point: I placed our order at 6:20 pm... at 7:18, we called and they said, it'll just be two more minutes... it's now 7:58. Last time we were dumb enough to order from them, the pizza arrived cold, soggy, and underdone. My advice: KEEP AWAY FROM MONTEREY'S!
When I went to Montereys they had the best pizza ever! I got to choose toppings the prices were really good. I would say this is the best place to go out for pizza!
I read several reviews of Monterey's, and decided this would be my first meal after arriving from Shreveport, LA. The crust was delicious, the sauce has the perfect amount of tang, sweetness, and spices. There was plenty of cheese, and the toppings fresh, and proportioned just right. As I will be in town for a few days, this place will slide into the menu slot at least one more time!
